more poetry has been written!! Today I'm going to a new coffeeshop in Norman, OK, call the Gray Owl so hopefully I can get some more stuff written!

I decided that I will start working on developing my writing into "art" pieces. I already have a few ideas sketched out. Now it is just a matter of actually creating it! I will post pictures of my progress. Hopefully I can get started as early as this sunday?

Okay, so I officially LOVE fleet foxes! It is very rare for me to enjoy every song on a CD and their CD "fleet foxes" is just A-MAZ-ING! haha, really though, the only other time where I've found a CD that I've loved every song is Radiohead "Hail to the thief" and Silversun Pickups!

I finish where I start

I wrote a poem today. Maybe because I've been getting a decent amount of sleep and staying off facebook ^_^ I was able to do lots of revisions to it, so hopefully it flows well? Anyway, please enjoy


I liked my life before it stopped
It was quiet, yes, and a little distraught
I was comfortable knowing I would be the same each day
With this constant dull feeling that never led me astray
But then I changed me, shook up my old heart
Stupidly believing, while my mind fell apart
Ignorant but happy in my false lying state
And quickly becoming this person that I would soon hate
But it's over now, I'm turning back
Returning my heart to this familar old sack
Alone now, in this empty dark space
Slowly waiting for the memories of you to erase
